Technical Integration Steps for Microsoft
In this article you will learn the technical integration steps required to get started using CyberNut with Microsoft.
The first step in completing the technical integration for CyberNut is to schedule a meeting with the Implementation Engineer. They will guide you through the following steps to ensure your implementation goes smoothly.
Part 1
Those that had a prior technical integration meeting to set up
the free Baseline Campaign will skip to Part 2.
- Setup Single Sign On so admins can easily log in to the CyberNut Admin Portal.

- Create a Baseline Campaign in the CyberNut Admin Portal. (Skip this step if you have purchased a subscription already.)

Part 2
- Enable Active Directory Sync in the CyberNut Admin Portal so when users are added or removed in the Microsoft groups they will be assigned the appropriate campaigns.
▶️ Enabling Active Directory Sync for Microsoft - Install the CyberNut Add on Reporting Tool to specific Groups.
▶️ Installing the Outlook Add On for CyberNut (Legacy Version) - Enable the feature to delete reported threats.
▶️ Enabling Reported Threats Delete for Microsoft - Ensure that the following URLs are allowed in your firewall and/or content filter .
▶️ What are the API Protocols that CyberNut uses? - Schedule a meeting with a Customer Success advisor to learn the next steps.
Caution: Be sure to check that all users have the addon installed before scheduling campaigns for all users. This should be done at least 72 hours before meeting your CS advisor.
