Updating Directory Integration for Google

In this guide you will learn how to update the Directory Integration for Google in order to schedule campaigns.

Part 1: Google Cloud Console

  1. Login to the Google Cloud Console at https://console.cloud.google.com/ using a Super Admin Account.
  2. Click the project button and select CyberNut.
  3. Click the menu in the top left and navigate to APIs & Services>Credentials.

  4. Click on the blue hyperlink underneath the Service Accounts section.

  5. If an existing key is listed. Delete it before creating a new one.
  6. Click on Keys and Add Key> Create New Key.


  7. Select JSON and then Create.

    A .json file containing the required keys should have been downloaded to your computer. These keys are used to connect the CyberNut Admin Portal to your Google Cloud Console account.


  8. Click Details and then Advanced settings. Click the copy icon next to Client ID. Then, open the Google Admin Console using the provided View Google Workspace Admin Console button below it.

Part 2: Google Admin Console

  1. Log in to the Google Admin Console at http://admin.google.com  and click on Security>Access and data control>API controls.

2. Click on Manage Domain Wide Delegation. If an existing CyberNut client exits, delete it.

3. Click on Add New.

4. Paste in the copied Client ID from #8.

5. Copy/paste all the scopes together below into the OAuth Scopes line and click Authorize. Then click Confirm.

Part 3: CyberNut Admin Portal

  1. Login to the CyberNut Admin Portal at https://admin.cybernut.com
  2. Click on Settings in the bottom left corner. Then Click the General tab. Confirm that Email Delivery Method is set to Direct Mail Injection. Then scroll down and click Save.

  3. Click on the Users tab on the top. It should display the following fields: Client Email, Private Key, and Admin Email.


  4. Upload your .json file from a previous step. (in Downloads folder.)
  5. Enter in your Admin Email which is the email address that was used to create the CyberNut project in the Google Cloud Console in the CyberNut Admin Portal.
  6. Click Submit when you are finished.

Note: if Enable Directory Sync is not enabled, turn it on by sliding to the right.
