Lower Elementary - **Accessibility:** Closed captions and text-to-speech are available. - **Knowledge Check:** Each module ends with a five-question Knowledge Check. There’s no minimum score, so students pass by completing it. - **Badges and certificate:** Students earn a badge for each module they complete and a certificate when they finish all 8 modules. - **Typical setting:** Usually completed as a whole group, led by the classroom teacher, librarian, or computer teacher. Upper Elementary - **Accessibility:** Closed captions and text-to-speech are available. - **Quiz:** Each module ends with a 10-question quiz, generated automatically from a pool of up to 20 questions. - **Passing score:** Students need a score of at least 70% to pass. - **Attempts:** Students get three chances to pass. If they don’t pass after 3 attempts, the module resets and they start over from the video. - **Quiz review:** Students who pass can review their quiz. Students who don’t pass can’t. - **Badges and certificate:** Students earn an online badge for each module they complete and an online certificate when they finish all 8 modules. - **Typical setting:** Completed individually or as a class activity, led by the teacher, librarian, or computer teacher. Junior High and High School - **Accessibility:** Closed captions and text-to-speech are available. - **Reading selections:** Each module includes 2 reading selections along with the video lessons. - **Quiz:** Each module ends with a 10-question quiz, generated automatically from a pool of up to 20 questions. - **Passing score:** Students need a score of at least 70% to pass. - **Attempts:** Students get three chances to pass. If they don’t pass after 3 attempts, the module resets and they start over from the video. - **Quiz review:** Students who pass can review their quiz. Students who don’t pass can’t. - **Badges and certificate:** Students earn an online badge for each module they complete and an online certificate when they finish all 8 modules. - **Typical setting:** Completed individually or as a class activity led by a teacher. What affects progress tracking in your district - **Individual accounts:** Any progress students make while logged in to their own accounts is recorded automatically. - **Whole-class activities:** When a teacher presents the modules to the whole class, the teacher must record grades manually in the online gradebook.
