Click below for a full screen walkthrough video.▶️ [Microsoft Azure Portal API Permissions](https://cybernut.storylane.io/share/57gmxizapvpj) For CyberNut to run without any interruptions, please ensure that you have all of the following API permissions under your '**CyberNut Admin'** app registration. To get started, visit the [Microsoft Entra ID Portal](https://portal.azure.com/#view/Microsoft_AAD_IAM/ActiveDirectoryMenuBlade/~/Overview)and click the '**Manage**' dropdown on the left side. Here, click on '**Add a permission**' then select '**Microsoft Graph**' and '**Application Permissions**'. ![](https://knowledgebase.cybernut.com/hs-fs/hubfs/undefined-Oct-30-2025-10-38-04-2039-AM.png?width=670&height=412&name=undefined-Oct-30-2025-10-38-04-2039-AM.png) ![](https://knowledgebase.cybernut.com/hs-fs/hubfs/undefined-Oct-30-2025-10-38-18-6997-AM.png?width=385&height=264&name=undefined-Oct-30-2025-10-38-18-6997-AM.png) Using Microsoft Graph's Application Permissions, please search for and add the following: **Group.Read.All** - Directory Sync **GroupMember.Read.All** - Directory Sync **User.Read.All** - Directory Sync **Mail.Send-** Send Email **Mail.ReadWrite** - Reported Threats Deletion & CyberNut Reporting Tool **User-PasswordProfile.ReadWrite.All-** Compromised Accounts **User.EnableDisableAccount.All-** Compromised Accounts **User.RevokeSessions.All-** Compromised Accounts Click '**Add Permissions**' once you have selected all of the above. This option is located near the 'Add a permission' button.
